I stayed for 15 days for a business/education trip. I prefered a larger room. I was a bit worried about the area but it was in total a very good stay. My room was on 7th floor towards the main street. My room was good enough for 1 person as I stayed a long time. I do not think 2 person would be confortable for such a long time. There is no closet, but some hangers, which were fine. And the small kitchen was good to heat something and eat, or drink while working at my table by the window, watching the street. With all the hustle and bustle just round the corner, it is a clean and relatively quite part of Shinjuku. The underground exit of 2 different stops are very close to the hotel The staff is friendly and helpful Breakfast was very Japanese. There are very few western style items, but I've stayed in many 5 star hotels in Japan and could not find one single thing to eat. Here at least there was scrambled eggs, normal bread, Fresh juices and salad. (Especially the berry juice had been my favorate) Very fast and convenient check in and check out. The washing machine also has been very useful. The room is clean, but the cleaning service is provided one every 5 days. Only towels and wastes are changed daily. The hotel is very close to some conveience stores and restaurants The pharmacy just downstairs makes a 10% discount for hotel guests. Let them know you are the hotel guest and show your room card. The air condition worked perfectly well (ıt was nearly 40 degrees with 80%+ humidity)

Tokyo is such a spread out city, we wanted to stay in a place that would put us close to a good amount of areas by foot, but also close to the major train stations for hopping about by subway. We're so happy we decided on Tokyu Stay Eastside, which ticked off both of those boxes, but was also an incredible value for the five nights we were there. Yes, Tokyo hotel rooms are all on the smaller side, but this was fine given the thoughtfulness of the design of the room and the hotel. We had comfortable bedding, a mini fridge, kettle, and microwave(!), as well as an in-room washer/dryer (incl. washing detergent) which was amazing for freshening up our clothes before we moved on to the next city. Bathroom and water pressure was also great, and we loved the thoughtful extras that included fabric spray and take-as-you-need toiletries that included combs, toothbrushes, and hair ties :) Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a central and comfortable base for exploring Tokyo.

The twin room was great size compared to a double which was tiny and didn’t even have space to open the suitcase. The twin had a decent kitchenette whereas the double didn’t & only had tea/coffee making facilities. Friendly staff who let us leave our luggage prior to check-in and also arranged to forward the suitcases to our next hotel (at a cost of course). Location worked for us as we didn’t want to be too central, but close to underground station and a short walk to the main station. Great washer & dryers in each room. They provide washing liquid. Have additional items -toiletries & tea bags available at reception. Windows can be opened slightly for fresh air which was great to air the room. Beds were comfortable.

The room and bathroom were both exceptionally clean and comfortable. While the room was small, we knew this when booking and never felt crammed into the space. The toilet/bathroom were very clean and the daily (pre 11am) option for fresh towels was great. Location was safe and convenient - a 20 second walk to the nearest Lawson, lots of train station entrances nearby and a 10-15 min walk from all the Shinjuku shops and restaurants. The staff were very polite and helpful, and arranged for our luggage to be sent to our next accomodation in Kyoto. Would definitely stay here again and we are sad to leave!

Location is very near metro and train station! All within 8-15mins of walk. There’s washer and dryer in the room which works perfectly for us! Service is excellent here! The rooms are comfortable, just that they do not clean the rooms throughout your stay. If you want them to clean need to pay extra. We are ok with that since we stayed for 4nights only. Clean towels and clearing of rubbish are done everyday. I would say this is one of my favourite hotel chains in Japan!
